Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Are these real bullets?
No. ROIL Tactical training rounds are completely inert training devices. They contain no primer, no gunpowder, and no projectile. They are CNC-machined from solid aluminum and are physically impossible to fire. They are designed exclusively for safe dry fire practice.
Will these damage my firearm?
No. ROIL training rounds are specifically designed for safe dry fire use. The aluminum construction is softer than your firearm's steel components, so repeated cycling won't damage your chamber, firing pin, or extractor. Many firearms manufacturers also confirm dry fire is safe for modern firearms.
How many times can I use them?
ROIL training rounds are rated for 10,000+ dry fire cycles. The hardcoat anodized finish and aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum construction ensures they hold up to extensive use. Most users will never wear them out.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, ROIL Tactical ships within the United States only. We are exploring international shipping options and hope to offer them in the future. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
What's your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely happy with your ROIL training rounds, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. We stand behind our products.
Do I need an FFL to purchase?
No. ROIL training rounds are inert training devices, not ammunition. They contain no energetic materials and are not regulated by the ATF. No Federal Firearms License, background check, or special permits are required to purchase them. They are legal in all 50 states.
